Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Kelsey Waltermire is a New York City based AEA actor and model. She is represented by Bella Agency for Commercial and Print. Kelsey earned her degree in Theatre with minors in Political Science and English from the University of Kentucky. In her free time outside of rehearsal, Kelsey is an avid cook and baking show competition watcher, a lover of books and anything involving coffee, and an amateur but enthusiastic rollerblader.

In New York City, Kelsey performed the female lead role of “Carol Collins” in the premier of the award-winning musical One More Fine Day at the Midtown International Theatre Festival. She originated the roles of “Emily” in the premier of What Am I Supposed To Do Knowing You’re In The World? and “Girl” Come Here, Baby Boy at SOOP Theatre Company. Kelsey also starred in the upcoming web series, Tell Me A Story.

In addition to NYC, Kelsey has also performed extensively with theaters across the country, including but not limited to the Greenbrier Valley Theatre (Alabama Story), AthensWest Theatre Company (Steel Magnolias, Brighton Beach Memoirs), On the Verge (The Cherry Orchard, Much Ado About Nothing), Woodford Theatre (Peter and the Starcatcher, Translations), Studio Players (The Miracle Worker, Wait Until Dark, Dracula Bites), University of Kentucky (Crimes of the Heart, Henry V, The Yellow Wallpaper) Antagonist Productions (Taming of the Shrew), Off Main Actors Group (Smoke on the Mountain), and High Springs Playhouse (Barefoot in the Park).

As a model, Kelsey has collaborated with many brands and businesses including but not limited to Honda, IL MAKIAGE, SoJo Spa Club, Turning Stone Casino and Resort, LALA Foods, Oribe, SARY Wigs, and Bella Coterie Bedsheets. She has been fortunate to work multiple times with multimedia artist and photographer, Melissa Hall. Most notably, Kelsey was a featured model for Melissa’s art galleries PANDEMIA and MEMENTO MORI. Kelsey has also been a featured model on world renowned photographer, Matthew Granger’s, Youtube Channel.
